EV Tuesdays: Week 10

Week 10: 11th January 2022

It's that time of the week again, EV Tuesday is here!

So now we are all settled back into our work/life balance and our day to day routine, why not add a little time to sit down and read a few hints, tips and some useful information about anything EV related.

This week we have another selection of 5 tools, one which we have revisited, for you to enjoy. Don't forget we will also be adding these to our social media channels on Facebook, Twitter & Reddit (check out r/evcables subreddit). If you would like an extra item click here and visit our blog.

Leave us some feedback and let us know your thoughts on what we have included or what you would like to see.

Happy reading :)

1. EV Video: BBC Radio 4

A few weeks back we saw Peter go on a trip from Lands End to John O'Groats in an electric car, here he is going on a bold, 4500 mile, trans-European journey in an electric car for BBC Radio 4. Take a seat and have a watch to see how he gets on.

2. EV Charge: Rapid Charge Your Car

We all need to fast charge our cars at some point. Here you can compare the cost of rapid electric vehicle charging networks side-by-side to see which one best suits your journey. Simply choose your vehicle, then adjust the mileage dial and get a true reflection on charging costs.

3. EV Christmas: Festive Mini

OK so we are a little late to the game on this one, but it was something that we have just come across. An electric car has been wrapped in 2,000 Christmas lights and took a tour of England to raise money for charity. Nico started this 3 years ago and has raised over £6000 for MS Trust, Duchenne UK, and Alzheimer's Society.

4. EV Podcast: Take It EV

Have a listen to this interview with Ellie O'Daire, a truck driver from USA. Ellie has recently upgraded her Mustang to the EV version, Mustang-E, here she shares her thoughts.

5. Quick Recap: EV Database

Here is a little recap about EV Database, a useful website with lots of EV related information. Our main goal is to accelerate the adoption of sustainable transport by maintaining an easily accessible database with all data regarding electric vehicles. Electric vehicles, in combination with autonomous driving, will be one of the most relevant revolutions in the automotive industry. Autonomous electric vehicles will one day be the norm.
