EV Tuesdays: Week 18

Week 18: 8th March 2022

It's that time of week that you have all been waiting for....EV Tuesday! Now that Spring is nearly here, and the weather (hopefully) will start to turn, maybe you could sit in your garden to read EV Tuesdays newsletters!

Anyhow, this week we have a selection of news items, a tip and a video for you to enjoy. Don't forget to head over to our social media handles like Twitter, Facebook and Reddit (check out r/evcables subreddit), sign up and share our pages, we do like to get the word out there. You can always sign up to our blog here and recieve an extra item :)

So until next week, pop the kettle on and get reading. Have a great week everyone.

3. EV Tip: Keep it Slick

Avoid installing exterior accessories like roof racks and cargo carriers on your EV. Again, the aforementioned aerodynamic drag such items create will cause added energy consumption at higher speeds.

4. EV Conversion: Morris Minor Conversion

The guys over at King Horn Electric Vehicles have started to convert a 1968 Morris Minor Traveller. The car is getting an 80kw Motor from a leaf along with 16 battery modules from a 30kWh leaf giving it approx 20kWh’s of battery storage. Here is the first update video on the project.

5. EV Video: Tesla

Is your Tesla Model 3 cabin filter stinky? Here's a video on how to change it and get rid of those unpleasant smells from the air conditioning.
